Sorghum Microwave Caramel Corn

  • 4 Quarts Popped U-Bake Corn
  • 1 Cup U-Bake Light Brown Sugar
  • 1/2 Cup Margarine
  • 1/4 Cup U-Bake Sorghum
  • 1/4 tsp U-Bake Salt
  • 1/2 tsp U-Bake Vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp U-Bake Baking Soda
  • 2 Cups U-Bake Peanuts (optional)

Spray inside of a large, brown, paper grocery bag with Pam spray. Pour popped corn into bag. Add peanuts, if desired. In a 1-quart or larger microwave bowl, combine brown sugar, margarine, sorghum and salt. Microwave on high for 3 minutes; stir. Microwave on high another 3 minutes. Remove from oven and add vanilla and soda; mix well. Pour mixture over the popcorn in the bag. Fold down top and shake bag. Microwave on high for 1 minute. Remove bag and shake well. Do this 2 more times. (Total of 3 minutes). Store in an airtight container. Quick and easy and keeps well for several days.
