Cheddar-Apple Turkey Meatballs

  • 1 pound Ground Turkey
  • 1 small apple, peeled & shredded on a box grater
  • 1/2 Cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1T bread crumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 tsp U-Bake Onion Powder
  • 1/2 tsp U-Bake Salt
  • Ground U-Bake Pepper to taste
  • 1/4 tsp U-Bake ground Sage

Combine all ingredients in a mixing bowl until well combined. Roll mixture into walnut sized balls with your hands.

Heat 2 tsp of olive oil in a non-stick skillet set over medium heat. Drop the meatballs in and cook, rolling occasionally, for 15 minutes or until meatballs are cooked through and nicely browned on the outside. Serve immediately.
