Scott's French Dip Sandwich

  • 1 pound cooked roast beef, thinly sliced
  • 2 Cups water to 2 T U-Bake Au Jus Seasoning Mix
  • 4 U-Bake Hoagie Buns, Baked

Prepare Au Jus according to package. Let simmer 5 minutes on stovetop, then add roast beef slices to warm. Split the Hoagie rolls and spread with butter and sprinkle lightly with U-Bake Garlic Salt or Powder. Place under a Hi Broiler until they just start to brown. Remove from oven and let cool slightly. Spread with horseradish or Dijon mustard and place swiss cheese on each half and place back in broiler just to melt the cheese. Once beef is hot, mound on top of each half of the hoagie bun and place another slice of swiss cheese on each side. Return to broiler until cheese is melted and slightly browned. Remove and put the two halves together to complete this awesome sandwich! Ladle au jus into small cups for dipping. Enjoy!
