Use as holders for candy jelly beans, red hots, or other small candies.
- 4 ounces butter (1 stick)
- 1/2 cup evaporated milk
- 2 cups U-Bake brand granulated sugar
- 6 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa
- 1 teaspoon U-Bake brand vanilla
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 2 1/2 cups U-Bake brand quick-cooking oatmeal
- 1/2 cup U-Bake brand flaked coconut
Combine butter, evaporated milk, sugar and cocoa; bring to a full rolling boil. Continue to boil 1 minute. Remove from heat. Add remaining ingredients; mix well. Drop by heaping tablespoons onto waxed paper.
While candy is still warm and is beginning to set up, make an indentation in each "nest." When firm and dry, use as "nests" for candy coated candies, jelly beans, or other small candies. Layer in an airtight container between sheets of waxed paper.
