In July of 2007, I purchased the Madison U-Bake. After living for 20 years in Phoenix and then 6 years in Savannah, it was time to move back to my hometown of Madison.

I had been back here on a vacation and wandered into U-Bake the first week it opened in 2004. I thought it was a great concept and tucked it into the back of my mind.

When I decided to move back and was at loose ends as to what to do, I remembered U-Bake. I called and incredibly it had gone on the market just the week before! The owners wanted to retire after 3 years. Within a few weeks I was the new owner.

I have learned an unbelievable amount in the last 2 years. We sell to people who are just too busy or aren’t inclined to bake from scratch. Most everything goes from the freezer to the oven.  We have great food for great people!

We have wonderful gals here who are hardworking, knowledgeable, pleasant and helpful to everyone. They have all been here since I came and hopefully will be here for a long time.
